MEET: FELICIA BARTH | VENUS OF THE DESERT

Tucked inside the Trading Post, past the sun-faded signs and rust-red shelves, there’s a little corner that always pulls people in. It feels a bit like stumbling onto a secret — a rack of denim catching the light just right, a patterned blouse with a story you can almost hear, a spark of something nostalgic in the air.

This is Venus of the Desert, our curated vintage collection brought to life by Felicia Barth, who seems to have an almost magical radar for good pieces. She travels, hosts pop-ups across the high desert, and handpicks every item herself. Nothing is random. Nothing is filler. Everything has a past and a personality.

The racks are a mix of denim jackets softened by adventure, retro tops with colors that just hit differently, and little treasures you didn’t know you needed until you’re holding them. You can easily lose track of time flipping through it all — the textures, the stitching, the little surprises that make vintage hunting feel more like a treasure quest than shopping.

It’s all curated. All vintage. And always fun to sift through, especially when the afternoon sun is pouring in and the whole shop has that slow desert hush.

You never really know what you’ll find, and that’s the best part.

Next time you’re wandering through the JT Trading Post, follow your curiosity and step into Venus of the Desert. There’s always a gem waiting.
