Desert-Made Goodness: The 2025 Olive Oil Harvest

The morning started quietly out in the olive groves — that soft Joshua Tree light settling over rows of trees heavy with dark, glossy olives. This year’s harvest is deeper and riper, the kind that presses into an oil that’s smooth, gently fruity, and warm on the finish. Nothing sharp. Just a little reminder of the desert sun.

What makes it special is the freshness. The olives move from grove to press to local shelves with almost no distance in between. A true Joshua Tree product, shaped by time, care, and a whole lot of patience.

This year, the Joshua Tree Trading Post partners joined the community harvest gathering — a diverse tasting event where everything on the table was made with the new olive oil. Lots of bread variations, lemon cake, and even pizza. Each dish had that unmistakable brightness from the fresh press, and you could feel the pride from the growers who produced it.

It made the oil feel more personal — not just something we stock, but something we’re connected to.

Now, the 2025 batch is back on the shelves at the Trading Post. Fresh, smooth, and unmistakably Joshua Tree. Perfect for gifting, cooking, or dipping straight into with a loaf of bread after a long day.
