A Desert Holiday Tradition: Farm-Cut Christmas Trees at JT Trading Post

A Desert Holiday Tradition: Farm-Cut Christmas Trees at JT Trading Post

There’s something special about the holidays in the high desert — cold mornings, warm light, and a slow shift in the air that tells you the season has arrived. And starting December 5th, Joshua Tree Trading Post is bringing a little extra magic to town with our annual Christmas Tree event.

This year, we’re offering fresh-cut Douglas firs and Noble firs, ranging from cozy 5-foot trees to statement-making 9-foot beauties.

  • Douglas firs: $65–$95
  • Noble firs: $80–$145

Whether you’re decorating a small desert cabin or filling a lively family home, there’s a tree out here waiting for you.

What makes this event even better?

Every tree purchased helps support the Twentynine Palms Elks Lodge, a local organization doing real good in our community. It’s holiday cheer with a purpose — the best kind.

And because we love turning moments into memories, we’re making the tree lot feel like a full desert holiday market. Outside, you’ll find:

  • A holiday vendor market with local makers
  • Live entertainment throughout the month
  • A food vendor serving warm bites
  • A pop-up bar for festive drinks under the string lights

We’ll be celebrating from December 5th through the 25th, and the whole thing has that easy, joyful Joshua Tree energy — families picking out trees at sunset, friends wandering the vendor stalls, music drifting across the lot as the sky turns pink.

Come by, find your tree, shop local, and soak in a little holiday magic at Joshua Tree Trading Post.

A desert tradition we’re grateful to share every single year.
